"Travel to Italy" is a handcrafted book capturing the timeless beauty of Italy through cyanotype photography and bold, structured design. The goal was to evoke nostalgia and wanderlust while blending traditional printmaking with modern aesthetics.

The book features a minimalist layout with strong typography and high-contrast imagery, enhancing the raw, textured quality of cyanotype prints. Each spread highlights a different Italian location, framed in a way that mirrors classic travel postcards.

Using the cyanotype process, I transformed original photographs into deep, monochromatic prints through UV exposure and water development. A key challenge was maintaining clarity and depth in the prints while ensuring they translated well to a book format. Experimenting with contrast adjustments and paper textures helped refine the final outcome.

The result is a visually compelling book that merges historical printing techniques with contemporary design, showcasing my ability to craft meaningful, tactile storytelling experiences.
