Custom Playing Card Deck Design

This project involved designing a fully custom deck of standard bridge-size playing cards, including all four traditional suits—Spades, Clubs, Diamonds, and Hearts. The objective was to create a cohesive, original visual system that balances functionality with strong illustrative design.

Each card features 100% original artwork, including custom-designed number cards, face cards, two unique Jokers, and an intricately designed card back. Special attention was given to maintaining consistency across suits while allowing each face card to express its own character and hierarchy. Careful page and artboard management was essential due to the scale and complexity of the deck.

The final result is a unified, thoughtfully designed card deck that highlights my strengths in illustration, visual systems, consistency, and large-scale project organization, while demonstrating attention to detail across an extensive multi-piece design set.
